A DIY boatbuilder-sailor sent me the following pictures of his sailing canoe in trimaran configuration. Vyacheslav is in Russia and has built a 3-piece canoe. Its sections can be nested for easier transportation.
I love the lightweight aspect of this paddling/sailing craft, among other things. And the sail rig looks very similar to the ones built and sold by Solway Dory.
