Sailor Nicholas A. just sent me these photos. They show off his self-designed / built trimaran — named “Voltair.”
He was planning on selling the boat last year but ended up keeping it this past summer.

No action videos, sorry. She’s actually pretty tame but for an improvised rig….I don’t know how to do super performance and that’s not in the budget.
Comfy & pretty is what I was going for. I took out a family of 4 last summer and she did very well. Easy winds normally on our lake. Wheel steering works pretty well.
Will try to sell it this spring.
